Doing well in exams: A webinar for students

Saturday, 4th July 2020     7:00 PM - 8:30 PM IST

“Study hard” or “study intelligently” - Everybody knows that!

The question is how?

How does one study?

What simple tricks can we use to motivate, measure, and improve ourselves?

What checklists can we use to keep ourselves on track?

Join us in this fun-filled interactive session on practical advice to the students, organized by Visionary Gurukul Alumni. These past-students understand the Indian education system well. They can offer their experiences, tricks, tips, and even how they motivated themselves.

Whether we like it or not, marks are the preferred way to evaluate a candidate for jobs or colleges these days. Most well-connected people probably do well, even if they do not do well in exams, because of the opportunities the system affords them. In contrast, poorer and rural people have to rely solely on standard credentials as ranks, marks, grades, and so on. Therefore, for rural people doing demonstrably well in examinations is a ticket out of poverty, through good colleges and eventually good jobs.
