IIITB- Alumni Mentorship Series: Higher Studies Edition

Hello all,

IIITB Alumni Council proudly presents IIITB Alumni Mentorship Series. It is a monthly event where members of the IIITB alumni community will mentor current students for their future Ph.D./MS applications. This will be a series of several interactive sessions where the speaker will first share his/her own experiences with higher studies (applications, timeline to be followed, profile to be built, etc), which will then be followed by a QnA session. To kick start this series, we have Kumaresh with us, an iMTech alumni currently pursuing his doctorate from Harvard University.

Speaker Profile

Kumaresh Krishnan

Kumaresh is a research scientist working on the interface of computer science, neuroscience and artificial intelligence (AI) at Harvard University. Prior to joining Harvard as a PhD researcher, Kumaresh did his Bachelors and Masters from IIIT-Bangalore, while also working as a part-time research assistant at MIT Media Labs. His current research is focused on computational modeling, brain-inspired algorithms, experimental design and neural imaging. His professional goal is to pursue research in novel brain-inspired computing systems.
